YAY! Awesome news! I know we do not know one another personally, but I have been reading your journey through this. What a strong united family you are! My 2 kids were very excited this morning when I told them that Eli is at home! We go to WB and my kids have got the priviledge of writing cards and praying for Eli. And we will continue those prayers until Eli is fully recovered and beyond!

Praying with tears, remembering all the surgeries and Amanda went through–it tears at your heart–but gives you and the child a history with God. When I read about Eli calling out for God to touch him, a memory washed over me from when Amanda prayed to “Jehovah Rophe” for help–as a four year old she had already learned God by that name, firsthand! I believe that her mercy gifts were born through those trying times–and I know God will not waste one moment of suffering in Eli’s (or your) life. Though I wouldn’t wish it on anyone, I wouldn’t trade, for anything, the hummility and dependence that walking with a suffering child brings. God is at work! Much love,

Eli and Family - I just wanted you to know that the Wrights and Chesins in the Atlanta area are bombarding God with prayers for you and your family. We LOVE you guys so much and I know you are in capable hands (God’s). God will be guiding the surgeons and comforting your family at the same time.
